Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Some things that need to be considered by the author in the SENDJA journal are as follows: 

1.    The author must ensure that the articles to be submitted are in accordance with the focus & scope of the SENDJA Journal

2.    The article to be sent has never been published and is not in the process of being published in another seminar or journal

3.    Articles submitted are in accordance with the SENDJA Journal style (please use the template provided)

4.    Every author's name listed in the article has been written correctly, with the appropriate affiliation and email address.

5.    Every author's name listed in the article must also be listed when submitting via OJS SENDJA

6.    When submitting an article, the author must submit it through the SENDJA journal page, meaning that he has agreed to transfer the copyright to the Insan Mulia Bima Foundation

7.    Articles are written in good and correct Indonesian or English and the risk of writing errors can be reduced with several tools such as grammarly (for English) and typoonline (for Indonesian)

8.    Articles have a number of pages between 8 to 17 pages

9.    Articles do not contain bullets and numbering

10.  The author does not add chapters beyond those specified in the template

11.  Authors are advised to use reference setting and formatting applications such as Mendeley, Zotero and EndNote, the reference style is used by APA 7th Edition (American Psychological Association)

12.  Citation, the author is not justified in citation by copying from other publications that have not been read from the original source. For example Axxxx in Bxxxx

13.  References are used at least 15, with primary sources of at least 60%, it is highly recommended to use the last 10 years

14.  To make articles easier to compile, use the template provided by SENDJA Journal

a)    Copy and paste just the text, then choose a style provided in the Styles section of the ribbon

b)    Save your article in ".doc" format

Notes:

Make sure the email used for active correspondence is accessed regularly (preferably connected to a smartphone)

Include a mobile number that can be contacted when registering an account, this will be used for urgent correspondence or to confirm the status of an article that is too long
