Eksplorasi kemampuan siswa pada hasil belajar ujian akhir semester: studi mata pelajaran kimia

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa SMA dalam tes sumatif dalam pembelajaran kimia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik random sampling. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMA sebanyak 94 orang. Teknik pengumpulan datanya adalah tes pilihan ganda yang terdiri dari 30 puluh soal yang meliputi mengingat, memahami, dan mengaplikasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, kemampuan siswa SMA menunjukkan rata-rata pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan persentase 15% dengan frekuensi 15 siswa. Kemampuan siswa pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase 27% dengan frekuensi 26 siswa. Kemampuan siswa pada kategori sedang memiliki persentase 56% dengan frekuensi 53 siswa. Rata-rata pada kategori rendah memiliki persentase sebesar 0% dengan frekuensi 0 siswa. Selanjutnya, kemampuan siswa pada kategori sangat rendah memiliki persentase sebesar 0% dengan frekuensi 0 siswa. Secara keseluruhan, kemampuan siswa tes sumatif di SMA di Kota Tegal berada pada kategori sedang.
